This half-day workshop supports ambassadors and volunteers in providing a warm and friendly welcome. It equips participants with the resources to interact and assist visitors to Northern Ireland and provides an opportunity to build on delegates’ existing skills as representatives of Northern Ireland to our visitors. This workshop will provide delegates with a detailed knowledge of the tourism product in Northern Ireland and within their specific tourism destination.

Individuals can attend an open WorldHost Ambassadors Workshop delivered by an independent WorldHost licensed trainer.
Option 2 - In Company Training
One of our Licensed Trainers can deliver the WorldHost Ambassadors Workshop within your business.
A business or organisation can arrange for its own trainers to attend our Train the Facilitator programme. Once licensed, your in-house trainer can deliver the WorldHost programme and can purchase training materials and certificates directly from NITB. If you are currently employed in a private sector organisation in Northern Ireland within the tourism, hospitality, travel or passenger transport and retail sectors and your company employs fewer than 250 employees then you could be eligible for financial assistance through the Department for Employment and Learning funded package for WorldHost customer service training.
